This week the Christian County CRIME STOPPERS is seeking information about a theft that occurred in Taylorville.

Sometime in the early morning hours of Monday, December 19, 2011 someone stole a manhole cover from the intersection of Briarcliff and Elm Streets.  There have been several thefts of manhole covers over the past several weeks from this area.  The unknown subject or subjects may have taken the covers to sell for scrap.  The value of each manhole cover is estimated at $300.
