The Taylorville Board of Education recently voted on a proposal from Richland Community College. Superintendent of Taylorville Schools, Dr. Greg Furstenau, says there were a couple reasons why the board wasn’t too interested in the Colleges proposal:

In voting against the proposal, board members cited the cost to the school district, and the district’s current relationship with Lincoln Land College.
