Taylorville, Illinois As a community bank, Peoples Bank & Trust recognizes the value of volunteerism in our communities.  To recognize, commend and promote the volunteerism, Peoples Bank & Trust has established a program to recognize an outstanding community member for their volunteer efforts of improvement to our community.

Patty Hornbuckle has been chosen as the Peoples Bank & Trust Volunteer of the Quarter for the many tireless hours she spent making the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Chilifest a success. Patty serves as Chairperson of the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce and has volunteered hundreds of hours of service for the many Chamber activities throughout the year.

In honor of his service, Peoples Bank has donated to the Greater Taylorville Chamber of Commerce Chilifest and Patty’s name will be placed on a plaque to be displayed at the bank.
