Former NHL player and ESPN hockey analyst Matthew Barnaby has been charged with driving while intoxicated. BuffaloNews.com reports Barnaby was arrested Sunday after police responded to a 911 call of an SUV driving erratically without a front tire. The car was being driven on the rim, causing sparks. Police say Barnaby failed several field sobriety tests, then had his license revoked after refusing to take a breath test. Barnaby began his playing career with the Buffalo Sabres in 1992 and played for seven teams. Barnaby, who had been with ESPN since 2008, had his contract with the network terminated.
