These are the results of the following court cases heard in the Christian County Court on Thursday, July 27th:

17CF111 - Justin M. Bright - Domestic Battery with a Prior and Aggravated Battery in a Public Place - Preliminary hearing. Also 17CF109 - Criminal Trespassing to Residence with Person Present and 2 counts of Battery - Pre-trial,  17CF008 - Possession of Meth Less Than 5 Grams - PTR Pre-trial, and traffic charges. Offer has been made, but defense rejected. Defense is ready for trial in August in 17CF109. State asks for further pre-trial next week. Pre-trial and preliminary hearing continued until August 1 at 10 a.m.

14CF180 - Brock A. Drockton - Possession of a Controlled Substance - Rule/Show Cause. Not present. Warrant issued, $50,000 bond set.

17CF071 - Josh D. Hill - Meth Delivery Between 5 and 15 grams - Pre-trial. Negotiations are on-going. Defense asks for one further pre-trial before putting case on jury trial schedule. Pre-trial scheduled for August 31 at 10 a.m.

16CF173 - Kandi R. Jacobs - Possession of a Stolen Title/Certificate/Plate - Pre-trial. Also 16CM009 - Retail Theft Less Than $300 and a traffic charge. Pre-trial continued until September 25 at 10 a.m.

17CF141 - Eric J. Merritt - Aggravated Battery - First appearance. Charge was read to defendant. Public defender appointed. First Appearance with Counsel set for July 28 at 10 a.m.

16CF071 - Tilur M. Miller - Possession of a Controlled Substance - Status Hearing. Defendant has stayed in compliance with probation. Status on sentencing continued until August 24 at 10 a.m.

16CF128 - Devon J. Newman - Cannabis Possession Between 30 and 500 Grams, Fleeing / Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer, and Resisting a Peace Officer - Pre-trial. Also traffic charges. Pre-trial continued until August 9 at 10 a.m.

14CF128 - Aaron D. Purcell - Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Meth Manufacturing Material - Petition to Revoke / Pre-trial. Court case in Logan County has been continued until September. Next Christian County court date scheduled for October 6 at 10 a.m.

17CF108 - Erica L. Wessling - Theft Less Than $500 with a Prior - First Appearance with Counsel. Defendant not present, counsel is present. Counsel asks for matter to be continued to August 9. First appearance continued to August 9 at 10 a.m.

17CM055 - David A Younker - Criminal Trespassing to Land - Appearance with Counsel. Negotiated plea is reached. Defendant will pay fines and court fees. Next court date set for November 15 at 9 a.m.
