Veterans Recognition Brunch

A brunch has been planned to honor area veterans and their guest on Veterans Day, November 11, 2017, at Clinton Community High School, Commons Area, 1200 Route 54 West, starting at 9:00 am. This year commemorates the 100th anniversary of World War I and so the program following the brunch will include a dance, "Belleau Wood," presented by members of Dance Xtreme, directed by Kim Alexander, followed by a program on World War I: The Great War, given by Gary Simpkins of Heyworth, IL. Hosting the event will be DeWitt Clinton Chapter DAR and the Clinton American Legion Auxiliary.

SIGN UP FOR 2017 DEWITT COUNTY ANGEL TREE/ PARENTS IN FINANCIAL NEED WHO REQUIRE GIFT ASSISTANCE FOR THEIR CHILDREN THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.

Applications are available at all Clinton School Offices, Farmer City School Offices, Head Start, or email suecalvert13@gmail.com for an online application.

PROGRAM is for DeWitt County residents, and guardian must have custody of child. Children 0-18, homeschooled or attending school, Alt-Ed, or specialized schools are eligible to be placed on Angel Tree.

Deadline for registration is NOVEMBER 17, 2017
