Help educate the public about new health strategies and how to stay healthy. The American Public Health Association (APHA) serves as the organizer of NPHW and develops a national campaign to educate the public. This year’s theme is: “Healthiest Nation 2030, Let’s make America the healthiest nation in one generation”. As health professionals, we work together to encourage and teach those in our community how to improve their own health by providing them with the information and the tools to do so. The Health and Wellness Fair at the UIS campus is one of the ways we educate the University Community and others in Springfield and surrounding areas. This year, it will be held on Wednesday, April 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and will be located in The Recreation and Athletic Center or “TRAC”.
