THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:
On March 25, Robert Burrus, of Pana, and Johnathon Cox of Pana were heading west on Rt. 16. Cox was turning left onto 2100 East Rd. Burrus was behind Cox and thought Cox was turning right. As Cox was turning, Burrus hit him in the driver side of the vehicle causing damage to both units. Both Johnathon and his female passenger were taken to Pana Community Hospital.
On March 25, Crystal Cook of Taylorville was traveling east on 1350 North Rd at about 1890 East. She lost control on the snow and slush packed road. Cook and passengers started to drive off the north shoulder, but crashed into snow that had been pushed into a pile by snowplows. Cook hit the snow bank and overturned on the north side of the road.
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING:
On March 22, at 11:16 pm, a Taylorville Police Officer initiated a trafic stop on a vehicle at Shumway and Adams. The vehicles registration stated the male registered owner had an active warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was identified as Jeremy Bahn, 28, of Springfield. He was arrested and transported to Christian County Sheriff's Office in lieu of bnd.
On March 20, a Taylorville Police officer made contact with a female subject at the Taylorville Police Department. He knew the female subject. Amanda Stickel, of Taylorville had a valid warrant out of Christian County. He placed the female subject under arrest and transported her to the Christain County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.
On March 24, at 1:38 am, officers were dispatched to Major Leagues in reference to a fight outside. Ronald D. Fisher of Taylorville walked out of the bar. He was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol y a minor and transported to the Taylorville Police Department for processing. He was released on a notice to appear.
